Welcome to the Orthodoxy of Ontario, where you can democratically select the status quo party of your choice. New ideas are fundamentally dangerous because they are either untried or would set a dangerous precedent. (Being from Ontario, I can let you know that it is safe for me to say this because I am not saying anything new. Indeed the year I was born a book was written on the subject, called Ideas in Exile.
